The brief
SetWeave's founder had already built the app itself: a workout logger for people who want fast, friction-free logging, with advanced timers, rest countdowns and analytics tucked behind opt-in settings rather than forced on every user. What did not exist yet was anywhere to send people before launch.
The brief was deliberately narrow: one hero, minimal scroll, a single call to action, joining the waitlist by email, and nothing that would need updating every week. No countdown, no launch date, nothing that would go stale while Android review timelines shifted underneath it.
Our approach
The app's own personality gave us most of the brief for free. SetWeave shows a rotating “Thought of the Day” on its splash screen, so we pulled a handful of those straight onto the landing page rather than writing new marketing copy from scratch. It reads like the product because it is built from the product.
Visually we leaned into a dark, data-driven mood: the kind of screen a lifter checks between sets, not a generic app-store render. Type does the heavy lifting rather than illustration, and the page ships as a single static build with no tracking beyond what the waitlist form itself needs.
“Your data is never held hostage.”
