Domain name registration and renewal

In short

We register domain names in your name, keep the DNS zone pointed where it should be, and handle the renewals so nothing lapses. A .uk domain is £13 a year and a .com is £28, both including the DNS zone.

01 · How we do it

Registered in your name, every time

A domain name registered in the supplier’s name instead of the client’s is one of the commonest ways small businesses lose control of their own website. We do not do it. Every domain we register is in your name, with your details as the registrant.

We handle the renewals so nothing expires by accident, keep the DNS zone tidy, and point mail and web where they need to go when something changes.

Questions about domain names

Should I have a .uk or a .com?

If you trade mainly in the UK, a .co.uk or .uk is what customers expect. A .com makes sense if you sell abroad or want to protect the name. Plenty of businesses hold both and point one at the other.

Can you move a domain we registered elsewhere?

Yes. We will need an authorisation code from the current registrar, and we can walk you through getting it.

What if I want to leave?

The domain is yours. We release it and help with the transfer.
