Website design for a fishery and holiday accommodation: Reepham Fishery

We designed and built the website for Reepham Fishery, four lakes and ten acres near Reepham in Norfolk, so anglers can find tickets and rules and holidaymakers can find and request lodge and static home stays.

The brief

Reepham Fishery serves two audiences under one name: anglers, who want to know what's in the lakes, what a day costs and what the rules are, and visitors who want somewhere to stay, with lodges, static homes and touring pitches. The site had to give each their own route without making either feel like an afterthought.

Pricing and availability change every year, so it also had to be easy to keep current.

Our approach

The homepage offers three clear doors, Fishing, Accommodation and Information, each a full-width photograph of the place itself, so the choice is made in a second. Fishing covers pleasure and match fishing, festivals, corporate days and the rules; accommodation carries the current year's prices and a downloadable booking form.

News, special offers, match results and a video section keep the site active through the season, and the social links reach the community that already follows the fishery. It runs on WordPress with Elementor, so the team can update prices and news themselves.

“Best known for the quality and quantity of our fish, and the beauty of the natural surroundings.”
