Website design for a flagpole manufacturer: Arena Flags

We designed and built the website for Arena Flags, a British manufacturer of portable and permanent flagpoles made in-house in Norfolk, presenting its engineering with a bold, flag-led homepage.

The brief

Arena Flags launched in 2019 with a product it believed was better than the alternatives: full-aluminium flagpoles designed to avoid the usual failures of breakage, flags slipping and tangled poles. A young manufacturer needs its website to make that case quickly, to trade and private buyers alike, and to make contacting the company easy.

There is no online shop to build. Buyers ring or email, so the website's job is to persuade and to route enquiries.

Our approach

The homepage is a full-bleed Union flag with the logo and a single line: a British manufacturing company producing flagpoles and components in-house to a very high standard. Below it, the two product families, portable and permanent, get their own sections, and details such as the swivel arms and drive-on spinner bases are shown rather than described at length.

Contact details and opening hours sit in the header and footer on every page, so a buyer is never more than a click from a phone number. It is a WordPress site built with Elementor.

“The next generation in flagpole design.”
