The brief
A festival website has one job for most of the year, which is to get people to buy tickets, and a different one during the event: telling them where to go. It also has to be refreshed every year with new dates, line-up and sponsors, without becoming a new project each time.
As a community interest company, Reepham Festival also carries a local story that the site has to tell.
Our approach
The homepage opens on the festival itself: a photograph of the crowd, a brush-stroke banner carrying the logo, the current edition and its dates (RFestival 27, 14th and 15th August 2027) and a Tickets button that stays in reach. The bold, hand-painted look keeps the site feeling like a festival rather than a venue.
Because the edition, dates and imagery change each year, the design is arranged so those elements can be swapped by the organisers rather than needing a redesign.
“Tickets first. Everything else a tap away.”
